Who this is for

Spora is built for university students to find clubs, orgs, and each other on campus. By creating an account, you're confirming the information you give us — your name, university, and the rest of your profile — is genuinely yours and accurate. Impersonating someone else or misrepresenting your affiliation isn't allowed.

Your content

You own what you post. By posting on Spora, you give us the license we need to store it and show it to other users as the app is designed to — for example, showing your posts in the campus feed or your club memberships on your profile. You're responsible for what you post and send, including tickle messages and direct messages.

Acceptable use

Spora has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior of any kind. Don't post, send, or share anything that is hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable — including through anonymous-feeling features like tickle secret messages. Don't impersonate anyone, spam, scrape, or try to circumvent the university-only sign-in gate.

Every post, comment, message, and profile can be reported or blocked directly in the app. We review reports of objectionable content and abusive users within 24 hours and, where the report is warranted, remove the offending content and eject the account responsible for it. We can also suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms at our own discretion, without a report.

No warranty

Spora is an early-stage, actively-changing product provided "as is." Features may change, break, or move without notice while we build. We'll do our best to keep your data safe and the app working, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Ending your account

You can stop using Spora at any time and request account deletion by emailing sporacampus@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms as Spora grows. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
